I am sick.

And before any of you make any smart comments about that, I mean I'm sick in the sense that I'm coughing and sneezing and having a fever, not the fact that I write slashy porn about hitmen wielding swords and tonfa and sharks.

...urgh...

Maybe I ought to see a doctor. The OTC medicine is not working so well, and my head hurts. The husband is also coughing. Let's hope it's not swine flu or anything like that, because school is starting next Monday and I can't afford to take the first week off. Apparently, one of the husband's co-workers got swine flu a while ago, but he never thought to tell me. Huh.

Well, school's starting, and I've managed to do nothing at all for the past four months (other than writing fanfics and playing lots of Pokemon). Way to go, me.

So how's everyone and their school going?

Hi gaiz. Sorry, this is not a fic update, but I do have the Storm's Eye Part 4 finished and I intend to post it some time tomorrow, after I read it through again. I haven't got a chance to reply the comments on the previous part, either. *sadface* This fic is really consuming all my energy.

I got a summer job at a book store. It was the first job I got that required manual work (I usually work as a tutor or a translator or an editor). It was fun to move books around and stuff, but man my arms are SORE right now. But at least I get to free up my brain during work to-- you guessed it-- write my fic. I'm really kind of obsessed right now, LOL. I just need to finish it as soon as work and RL would permit.

Also, during work today I thought of something really fun to do. Wouldn't it be great to have a crack meme or something, like the kink meme? I know, I know, as if I need another reason to write more, right? But the current fic is so serious I'm just dying to write and read something light and easy. I don't know. I'll have to sleep on that one. But if I really manage to get the meme up and running, I hope everyone will come and play. :D

*yawnnnnn* Now I need to get some sleep...

Only, I had written GokuHaru again. Gosh, they're easy to write. And I didn't even realize how much of the new story has elements from the old. It's embarrassing, but I didn't remember what I had written until I just read the old one now.

In other exciting news, I have curly hair now. XD And new glasses. Though I have wanted to change them for some time, they magically disappeared last week, giving me a chance to get new PURPLE ones. Yayz. It's as close to a summer makeover as I'm ever gonna get.

And, I'm going to Korea for 2 weeks on Sunday. Yay for vacation, and not so much yay with the in-laws. LOL. I'll survive.

Fun distraction is fun. I also got into pixel art suddenly a few days ago, and people who know me know I just randomly get into all kinds of weird things and abandon them after a short while spend a lot of time all of a sudden in new-found hobbies. Here's what I have made so far. It's so time-consuming, it's perfect for Queens of Procrastination like me. >D



Are they any good? I don't know. I have no art training whatsoever and guessed my way through shading. >_>

Also, am looking at joining a fun cracktastic rp. (Why yes, I'm looking for more things to do so I don't have to do my homework.) There are a couple being advertised at hitman_reborn recently, so I might do that... only, I've never seriously rp-ed. Any suggestions?

What does hitting a writer's block feel like? CRAPPY, let me tell you. I mean, it's really not a good time to have a writer's block right now, considering how I have a thesis proposal due in 2 months and I have NO IDEA what I'm gonna do yet. WTF, self, WTF. I have one more plot bunny that I'm probably going to write, but that's IT. I can't seem to get my muses to work. *whine whine whine*
